The great city of Virtus is the Capital city of the realm of Romanus. It is home to tens of thousands of inhabitants. The city is the seat of power of the emperor and the House of Resolutia. The city has 3 Imperial Legions as well as the Crown Legion which is recruited from the city and surrounding areas denizens. The city features the Emperor's Citadel and the Academy of Romanus. The city also has various manors owned by the High Lords and Citizens, the Red Tower and various underground passageways called The Waters The Nradians and then the Avon both have envoys in the Capital.
House of Resolutia
As the residence and/or seat of the emperor, the Capital also bears the arms of the Crown, those of the ruling House of Resolutia. As such, the city is symbolized by the Scarlet and Black of the House of Resolutia and its emblem/symbol of the Eagle.
Around the city, and all the High Cities of Romanus, flies the flag of the emperor: "The flag of the Emperor, a scarlet eagle on a black field, fluttered in the breeze,".
Office of The Emperor
As the ruling family, the Title and Office of the emperor pass through the line of succession of the House of Resolutia.
Although the House of Resolutia is symbolised by the Scarlet and black, and the Eagle - which has become synonymous with the emperor - The Office of the emperor is in fact symbolized by the Bear.
